Don’t mistake Bible knowledge, years of church attendance, physical age, or education for spiritual maturity. Don’t let self-centeredness or idealism distract you at this step. This is the STAGE of the path where you begin taking the initiative. As with an infant, great concern is taken to walk with, and care for, a member in the BEGINNER STAGE, because they are vulnerable. As a GROWING member, the responsibility falls on you to begin serving others faithfully.

- I know there are volunteer and service needs at Clear Creek, but I don’t have time to serve, and it seems too stressful.
